Northwestern University Physics & Astronomy

I am a recent Northwestern University graduate who majored in physics and astronomy with a minor in Italian. I was fortunate enough to be involved in astronomy research during my collegiate career. My current research focuses on eclipsing binary stars.

My research forcuses on the study of of eclipsing binary star systems. This artist's rendition (credit: ESO) gives an idea of how, via observations of eclipses, one can use the light curve of a binary star to recover the period.
