Throughout my time as a research assistant, I have been fortunate enough to perform science outreach in several contexts. I've found that communicating science can be just as fun as doing science itself!
I'm also pleased to say that as of March 2020, I was named a medalist for the Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Award. This came as a result of my presentation of this poster at the 235th meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Honolulu, HI. This poster depicted part of my thesis project.
Me presenting at the AAS conference in January 2020!
I'm also please to say that after graduation I will be moving to New York City to begin teaching science for Success Academy, a charter school network in the city. I'm excited to begin sharing my passion with the next generation of scientists!
